Senior Client Accountant, 6 month FTC

up to £45k depending on experience

Cobalt are working with a market leading property management company. Due to the demand they have seen over the last year they are seeking a Senior Client Accountant to join their established team on a fixed term basis to work across a portfolio of commercial properties.

The successful candidate for this role will thrive in a busy environment and adapt quickly to tight deadlines, work across multiple schedules and fast changing demands for the role. This role is a great challenge for any one who likes variation in their day to day duties and thinking on the spot!

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing monthly and quarterly reporting and liaising directly with clients to resolve queries

• Overseeing the service charge budgets across the portfolio and ensuring accounts are correct

• Raising demands across rent and service charges, ensuring all tenants are aware of and understand these charges

• Ensuring both new and existing leases are correctly recorded on the system

• Working through a backlog of year ends to ensure the financial year is balanced

• Loading service charge budgets on to the system after liaising with surveyors and property managers regarding various properties

Personal Specification:

• Prior knowledge of a property management system such as Qube, Horizon, Yardi, MRI or Tramps essential

• Clear communication skills both written and verbal

• A passion for problem solving and ensuring issues are resolved quickly and efficiently
