Senior Finance Analyst

Up to £80,000 p.a. plus bonus

We partner with a FTSE100 top notch real estate development and investment firm with strong presence across the UK and Europe in their search for a Senior Finance Analyst to join their growing team in London.

The Senior Finance Analyst will be working closely with the Finance Director in a newly created role as a commercial finance and strategic partner across various projects related to analysis of the financial and operating position and performance of join ventures.

This is a unique opportunity to join a very successful business with extremely low staff turnover that is growing rapidly and has an impressive pipeline of new multibillion investments for the next months.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for preparing and analysing the annual budget and presenting the business plan, working closely with the Joint Venture partners

  • Liaise with the European teams to prepare the JV quarterly reports for the Board

  • Prepare half year and year end Investor/Bond holder results presentations liaising with group finance and investor relations teams

  • Working closing with senior members of the joint ventures to assure Bi-Annual KPI request is addressed as well as other KPI requests

  • Participate in the preparation of the year end audit and consolidation, ensuring the financial statements are delivered in a timely manner

  • Preparation of documents and presentations related to commercial finance - such as Bond and Debt issuance programmes and investor presentations

Key requirements for this role:

  • ACA / ACCA qualified

  • Prior experience in property is required; experience in audit would also be beneficial

  • Knowledge of management reporting, forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning

  • A deep interest to get involved into the strategic aspects of join ventures

  • Excel skills

  • Highly analytical background; experience in modelling is advantageous
