Cobalt is currently recruiting for a Senior Finance Manager to join a focused and personable team reporting into the key leaders of this impressive organisation.

This role is within a Real Estate Developer who specialise in the improvement of buildings, infrastructure and communities and therefore creating job opportunities and progress to the local economies.

This is an exciting opportunity as the successful candidate will be working on joint ventures, interesting projects, and financial operations within the business.

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of Joint Ventures and Joint Venture accounting for annual and interim reporting.

• Taking charge of preparing, reviewing and filing statutory accounts for all the UK subsidiaries under UK GAAP.

• Providing support to the head of financial operations in designing and managing the Finance Departments infrastructure and processes.

• Taking charge of operations of finance systems including recommending improvements

• Managing a small team across payables, receivables and treasury

• Reviewing quarterly and annual returns from the Group Accountant.

• Reviewing VAT returns produced by the Financial Operations team.

Requirements

• Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent

• Proven working knowledge within Real Estate

• Experience in directly managing finance individuals

• UK GAAP and IFRS knowledge

• Good knowledge of IT/Finance Systems

• Excellent Communication skills and interpersonal skills.

• Experience before of leading a team.
