My client is an independent, market leading property consultancy with regional offices located throughout the UK. Their approach is one based on collaboration, tailoring their teams to the complexity of the work which has ensured strong repeat business throughout the years. The Manchester office is currently seeking a Senior MRICS Management Surveyor to support with the management of a national portfolio on behalf of a key client.

The appointed Senior Management Surveyor will be responsible for properties which spans the Midlands & North with key duties to include:

• Manage the relationships with both Tenants and Landlord

• Carry out Lease Management, L&T and client delivery services

• Set up service charge budgets and ensure excellence in the management of the portfolio, ensuring full compliance in line with the client KPIs

• Attend asset management and leasing meetings, providing the client with asset overviews, giving recommendations where necessary

• Coordinate, assist, prepare and review the Management Reports, Service Charge Reconciliation and Service Charge Budget packs

• Update and record lease events, reporting these to the client

• Support the finance team with invoicing and credit control

• Ensure all statutory compliance requirements are met

Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• A proven track record in commercial property and lease management

• Service charge management experience of setting and managing budgets

• A strong Health & Safety awareness

• Structured client reporting

• A working knowledge and understanding of the RICS Service Charge Code

• Experience of having managed assets on behalf of public sector and retail clients would be advantageous

• A full and clean driving licence
