Our client is a fantastic property group with over £3 billion pounds worth of assets under management across the UK and USA. Their London office is looking for an experienced service charge accountant to prepare service charge accounts across their commercial portfolio. You will be working closely with the Head of Services Charge and with the commercial surveyors.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous Service Charge Accounting experience looking for their next step into a progressive role, working Client side and to join a successful team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the full service expenditure of commercial properties

• Raising year end balancing charges and adjustments

• Being responsible for the reviewing and analysis of all commercial service charges

• Communicating effectively with surveyors to agree allocations of commercial service charges

• Use Horizon to input balancing charges and database adjustments

• Preparation of commercial service charge budget templates

Personal Specification:

• Previous experience working as a Service Charge Accountant

• Previous experience working with a property management system, ideally Horizon would be advantageous

• Advanced excel knowledge is vital and being able to manipulate large sets of data using the tool

• You will be methodical, accurate and have excellent attention to detail

• Have will have a confident character and come across approachable
