Cobalt is working alongside a property business that is challenging the established status quo of the UK Real Estate industry. Partnering with a long term client of theirs, this company is investing heavily in their growing portfolio and subsequentially the people to manage it too, bringing on board some of the markets brightest and best in order to deliver a top tier FM service throughout the UK.
This newly created home-based and mobile role will see you acting as the lead Technical Services/Engineering Management ensuring a efficient and effective hard service provision, advising Regional Senior FM's and working hand-in-glove with your client.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Providing technical and lifecycle advice to other key members of the FM team;
Working alongside the head of Sustainability to give technical support on new initiative implementations;
Supporting the FM's on statutory compliance and guiding as appropriate for hard FM relating matters;
Taking a proactive ethos to key engineering deliverables;
Ensuring the effective delivery of a planned preventative maintenance programme;
Reviewing the work of all contractors to ensure all are delivering a maintenance service that is fit for purpose;
Develop a full understanding of client systems & how they interact with your CAFM software;
Measuring engineering compliance across the portfolio, conducting regular audits and project records to ensure the highest of standards are kept to throughout the portfolio;
Physically inspecting the properties throughout the UK.
This is a home-based role, but will require frequent travel throughout the UK (at dates of your choosing except in cases of emergency) and therefore requires that you have a UK drivers licence. You'll bring a strong foundation of Technical Services/Building Services Engineering experience and be able to match that with the strategic vision and relationship-building skills you also possess.
