A growing and highly regarded property investment and asset management business is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join its expanding finance team.

With a strong track record of developing talent internally, this is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their accounting career to gain hands-on experience and progress within a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Process supplier invoices, ensuring accurate coding and timely posting
• Set up and verify new suppliers, maintaining strong financial controls
• Handle supplier queries and perform regular reconciliations
• Post credit card transactions and manage receipts
• Process daily bank transactions and prepare bank reconciliations
• Assist with cash reporting, tenant deposits, and US accounts
• Support utility recharges, business rates, and general finance admin

Requirements:

• Some experience in a finance or accounts role. Experience in Real Estate is strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
• Confident communicator with a proactive approach
• Basic Excel skills; studying or keen to study AAT/ACCA/CIMA
