Kate Peers-McQueen
Director - Residential Development, Town Planning and Construction

About the Role

A highly respected regeneration and placemaking consultancy is seeking an Associate Director or Director to join its growing team.

Working at the forefront of regeneration, development and placemaking, the business advises local authorities, developers, investors and delivery partners on some of the UK's most significant place-led projects.

This opportunity has arisen following the departure of a well-established senior team member and offers the chance to inherit existing relationships whilst helping drive the next phase of business growth.

The role combines business development, client leadership and project delivery. We are particularly interested in individuals who bring an established network, a commercial mindset and a proven ability to win and lead regeneration, placemaking or masterplanning commissions.

You may currently be operating within a regeneration consultancy, development consultancy, planning practice, local authority regeneration team or a related advisory environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading regeneration and placemaking projects.
  • Managing senior client relationships.
  • Winning and developing new business opportunities.
  • Preparing proposals and tender submissions.
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Representing the business across industry networks and events.
  • Supporting strategic growth initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong market credibility, excellent stakeholder management skills and a genuine passion for shaping places and communities.

For the right individual, the business can offer a highly entrepreneurial environment, significant autonomy, strong earning potential and the opportunity to participate in growth-share or equity-style incentive structures.

Please get in touch with me (Adaora) to discuss and understand more about the role. If you do not hear back within two weeks, please assume that your application has been unsuccessful, but we will retain your details on file for future roles.
