About the Role

Cobalt is partnering with an established property management business in North London to recruit an Assistant Property Manager. The business offers a structured environment where performance and development are recognised, with hybrid working and opportunities to progress within property management.
The role
This is an opportunity for an Assistant Property Manager to develop their block management knowledge while supporting experienced Property Managers with residential portfolios. You'll gain exposure to the key areas of block management while helping to provide a responsive service to residents, leaseholders and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities
· Assist with the day-to-day management of residential developments.
· Respond to resident, leaseholder and stakeholder enquiries within agreed service levels.
· Assist with maintenance requests and liaise with contractors and suppliers where required.
· Support the administration of service charge budgets and related property management processes.
· Assist with Section 20 consultation processes and maintain accurate records.
· Support the organisation and administration of AGMs and other resident meetings.
· Progress actions arising from property inspections, meetings and compliance requirements.
· Maintain accurate information across internal property management systems.
· Provide a professional and helpful service to residents and other stakeholders.
About you
We're keen to speak with candidates who want to build their career within block management and develop their technical property knowledge.
You'll also bring:
· Previous exposure to residential property, block management or a related property environment.
· A working knowledge of service charges, Section 20 processes and the fundamentals of residential block management.
· Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
· Clear written and verbal communication skills.
· A customer-focused approach when dealing with residents, clients and external stakeholders.
· Good attention to detail when maintaining property and compliance information.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and property management systems.
