About the Role

Are you ready to take your next step in infrastructure surveying, where your work truly shapes the built environment of tomorrow?

Cobalt are working with a highly respected property consultancy to find an ambitious and experienced Associate or Associate Partner-level Surveyor to join their growing Infrastructure team in Leeds. This is a standout opportunity to play a central role in the delivery of major national infrastructure schemes across rail, road, energy, and utilities - advising on everything from land access and acquisition through to compensation and valuation.

You'll be supporting landmark, nationally significant projects - projects that make headlines and genuinely improve how people live, work, and travel.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and support delivery of complex infrastructure projects for national clients and corporate investors.
  • Provide expert advice across temporary land access, CPO, compensation, and valuation.
  • Manage negotiations relating to land acquisition, lease events, disturbance claims and access rights.
  • Deliver RICS-compliant valuation reports and provide tactical commercial advice to clients.
  • Drive local business development and build long-term client relationships.
  • Support and mentor junior team members, sharing technical knowledge and sector insight.
  • Contribute to the continual refinement of internal processes and systems.
  • Provide strategic input on project risk, compliance and legislative matters.

What you'll bring:

  • MRICS qualification and ideally RICS Registered Valuer status.
  • Solid post-qualification experience in infrastructure, compulsory purchase, general practice, or rural surveying.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the confidence to manage client relationships and complex negotiations.
  • A collaborative approach, strong interpersonal skills, and a focus on delivering exceptional client service.
  • A proactive mindset, with the ability to manage your own workload and adapt to fast-moving project needs.
  • A full UK driving licence, as some travel will be required.
