Associate Planner

This is a streamlined, relationship-led consultancy where planners are trusted to build their own networks, develop opportunities and become long-term advisers to clients. You'll have the autonomy to take ownership of live instructions while playing an active role in the continued growth of the business.

You'll manage a varied portfolio spanning residential, commercial, regeneration, employment and strategic development. You'll lead planning applications and pre-application work, advise clients on planning strategy and development potential, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage projects through to determination.

The commercial side of the position is equally important.

You'll build on established relationships within the property and development sector, identify new opportunities and turn professional contacts into new and repeat instructions. You'll also contribute to fee proposals, tenders and wider business development activity.

We're looking for an MRTPI planner with strong working knowledge of the UK planning system and experience across city-centre living, regeneration or comparable development projects.

You'll need an established professional network alongside the ability to build trusted client relationships and provide commercially focused advice.
