About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a Global Property Consultancy as they seek to appoint a Building Manager to work on a key client account, overseeing a high-profile commercial office building while also providing remote oversight of a second asset remotely.
You will have full ownership of the primary building, managing daily operations, leading the on-site team, and ensuring the asset is operated to the highest possible standard. Alongside this, you will retain responsibility for a secondary site, requiring approximately one visit per month, with remote management the rest of the time.
Key Responsibilities:
Full responsibility for the day-to-day management of a prestigious commercial office building
Leadership and development of the on-site management and service teams
Acting as the main point of contact for the client and occupiers
Oversight of both hard and soft services, ensuring strong contractor performance
Ownership of H&S, statutory compliance, and operational risk management
Budget management, service charge input, and cost control
Remote management of a secondary commercial asset, including reporting and site visits
Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience as a Building Manager within commercial office environments
Experience managing complex, multi-let assets
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
Confident balancing on-site and remote responsibilities
