  • Manage building maintenance programmes, including planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works.

  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation, statutory regulations and building management procedures.

  • Manage and monitor service charge budgets, ensuring expenditure is controlled and value for money is achieved.

  • Support sustainability initiatives and identify opportunities to improve building performance and environmental efficiency.

  • Work closely with the wider property management team to ensure the asset is maintained and operated to a consistently high standard.

The Ideal Candidate

We are keen to speak with candidates who have previous experience managing commercial office buildings, ideally within a managing agent environment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience as a Building Manager, Facilities Manager or Assistant Building Manager within commercial property.

  • Strong knowledge of hard and soft FM services and building operations.

  • An understanding of service charge budgets and financial management.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong focus on customer service.

  • The ability to work independently, prioritise workloads and take ownership of building operations.
