About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Community Manager to join a leading property and place-management organisation on a 12-month fixed term contract.This role is central to delivering a high-quality occupier and visitor experience, ensuring the building operates smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest professional standards.
Reporting directly to the Site Director, the Community Manager will act as the primary point of contact for tenants, visitors, and stakeholders, combining strong customer service with operational oversight, compliance management, and proactive problem-solving.
This is a hands-on, people-facing role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and takes pride in running a well-managed, welcoming space.
Key Responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact for all tenant queries, issues, and service requests, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication

Work closely with the building management company and contractors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

Support the Site Director and deputise in their absence when required

Oversee and coordinate hard services, maintenance activity, and contractor performance to ensure service excellence

Monitor and manage statutory and internal compliance, ensuring adherence to company policies, RICS standards, ISO requirements, and legal timelines

Develop, implement, and communicate standard operating procedures, identifying potential issues before they arise

Manage event bookings and on-site events, liaising with tenants and external guests to ensure high-quality delivery and clear expectations

Deliver a professional meet-and-greet service for visitors and callers, acting as a key site ambassador

Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation using internal systems and Microsoft Office
Skills & Experience

Proven experience in a similar community, facilities, or property management role

Confident building relationships with occupiers, clients, suppliers, and stakeholders at all levels

Highly organised, proactive, and process-driven, with excellent attention to detail

Comfortable managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines

Strong customer-service mindset with a professional, courteous approach

Experience using Microsoft Office; familiarity with Riskwise desirable
-
IOSH qualification desirable but not essential
