Smart Adoption Manager

 

Role Overview

This role drives the successful adoption of smart building and digital placemaking platforms across a leading real estate portfolio. Acting as the bridge between technology delivery and operational use, you will ensure new digital capabilities translate into real-world behavioural change, customer confidence, and measurable commercial value.

Role Responsibilities

* Lead adoption of digital access and smart platforms across operational buildings.

* Work with on-site teams and property management to embed digital access and smart systems into everyday operations.

* Translate technology capability into practical behaviours, guidance, and operational processes.

* Develop playbooks, training materials, and support tools to ensure confident platform usage.

* Build strong relationships with occupiers and site teams to drive engagement with smart services.

* Shape and define new smart building service offerings and data-driven propositions.

* Collaborate with leasing, asset management, and property teams to assess viability and commercial opportunities.

* Capture occupier feedback and operational insight to support continuous improvement of smart platforms.

Role Requirements

* Experience driving adoption of digital platforms or technology change within complex operational environments.

* Strong stakeholder engagement skills across operational, commercial, and technical teams.

* Ability to translate technical capabilities into clear, user-friendly guidance and behaviours.

* Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to build trust at all levels.

* Understanding of smart buildings, IoT platforms, or digital access technologies.

* Experience with service design, commercial offerings, or occupier experience environments advantageous.
