Development Executive
The organisation
We are partnering with a leading organisation operating across the media infrastructure and real estate sectors to recruit a Development Executive. With an established UK portfolio and ambitious growth plans, the business continues to invest in opportunities that support the expansion of its advertising asset network.
The role
Reporting to the Head of Development, the Development Executive will identify, secure and progress opportunities to grow the organisation's portfolio of advertising sites across the UK.
This is a relationship-led role, combining business development, negotiation and stakeholder management. You will engage with property owners and landlords, managing opportunities from initial contact through to completion while working closely with internal teams to deliver successful outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
- Building relationships with property owners, landlords and industry stakeholders.
- Identifying and securing new site acquisition opportunities.
- Managing opportunities through the full acquisition process.
- Negotiating commercial agreements and contractual terms.
- Conducting site assessments and gathering commercial information.
- Working closely with Legal, Planning and Asset Management teams.
- Generating opportunities through networking, referrals and direct outreach.
- Maintaining accurate records within the CRM system
- Proactively promote the organisations propositions across the industry
Skills and experience
- Experience within business development, acquisitions or a relationship-led commercial role.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to build long-term relationships.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of objectives.
- Full UK driving licence.
