About the Role

Cobalt are working with a renowned residential-led developer who are in the midst of internal expansion who currently have a large portfolio of long term projects varying between 200-1000 units across London and the South East.

 

They are looking for a Development Manager who is adept at the management of major developments with experience in both development and planning, optimisation, feasibility and viability. This will require the ability to collaborate with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external and having a working background in London or similar urban projects would be preferable.

 

Responsibilities will be (but not limited to);

· Managing pre-apps and planning applications through the development process

· Undertaking due diligence, development appraisals and feasibility and viability studies.

· Helping to lead on negotiations and JVs with local authorities and RPs

· Optimising the value of sites through a variety of asset types

· Liaising with local authorities and stakeholders throughout the entire development process

 

You will ideally have;

· Experience in a developer, consultancy or public body

· Excellent verbal, written and numerical skills

· A strong understanding of planning

· The dedication of a hard worker and a strong team player
