About the Role
Cobalt are currently working with a global real estate advisory firm who has a proven track record of successful transactions and a team of dedicated professionals, that offer tailored solutions to meet every client needs. They are a very friendly and hard-working team who have an excellent reputation. The consultancy operates in services including land and development agency and public sector development and major developments. Currently, they are looking for Development Surveyors to join due to an influx of work for the team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Cover the development of land from acquisition and sale of residential, commercial and mixed use opportunities (city centre, suburban and strategic)
- Understanding and experience of public sector procurement and disposals, including S123
- Provide professional advice in regards to development appraisals, strategic advice, marketing strategies, etc.
- Ability to find, secure and work instructions with a range of clients including, both public and private
- Experience of working in and leading multi-disciplinary teams.
- Support junior personnel in their career development and progression.
Ideally you will have:
- MRICS Qualified
- Fully conversant with Argus Developer (Prodev desirable)
- Some experience in valuation, negotiations, appraisals, viability or development/planning
- Using Excel to build schedules of accommodation and cashflows
- Experience of residential and commercial development consultancy/advisory.
- Experience on complex lease negotiations would be an added benefit.
