About the Role

As the business expands, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Development Surveyor to join their Leeds office and play a key role in delivering projects from inception through to completion. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying, appraising, and acquiring new development opportunities across the region
- Support the delivery of schemes through detailed financial analysis, feasibility studies, and market research
- Coordinate the design and procurement process, working closely with internal teams and external consultants
- Manage risk assessments and contribute to commercial strategy across each stage of the project lifecycle
- Prepare and implement sales and lettings strategies, including the appointment and management of third-party agents
- Engage with key stakeholders to support planning and delivery objectives
- Contribute to the strategic growth of the regional portfolio by monitoring trends and identifying value opportunities
Key Requirements
- MRICS qualified or working towards your APC (support offered for completion)
- Proven experience within property development, ideally across multiple project phases
- Strong commercial acumen and financial modelling skills
- Effective communicator with the ability to build positive relationships across teams and with external stakeholders
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a genuine passion for development and placemaking
- Comfortable working to deadlines and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Full UK driving licence preferred due to regional travel
