About the Role
Our client, a leading construction and engineering company, is seeking an experienced Digital Engineering Manager to drive innovation and excellence in Building Information Modelling (BIM) and digital construction technologies. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the company's digital strategy and ensuring best practices across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement divisional Digital Engineering strategies.
- Oversee BIM procedures, processes, and quality assurance.
- Lead and support a team of Digital Engineers at project level.
- Provide technical expertise and training on BIM tools and methodologies.
- Work closely with Pre-Construction teams to define digital strategies during tenders.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, including ISO19650.
- Support digital collaboration through platforms like BIMcollab and Viewpoint for Projects.
- Manage the procurement and implementation of approved BIM software.
- Conduct audits on third-party BIM models and ensure quality compliance.
- Develop 4D & 5D BIM applications to enhance project efficiency.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong background in Digital Engineering, BIM Management, or Design Management.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, Solibri Office, Synchro, and other industry-standard software.
- Working knowledge of ISO19650-1, ISO19650-2, ISO19650-3, and BS 1192-4:2014.
- Experience in training and mentoring teams in digital construction methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
