About the Role
Are you an experienced Health & Safety leader ready to make a significant impact across a diverse, high-profile property portfolio? This is a standout opportunity to join a well-established client-side organisation that owns and manages an impressive mix of assets across Central London.
The Role:
As the Director of Health & Safety, you will play a pivotal role in shaping, implementing, and overseeing H&S strategy across a portfolio spanning residential, retail, and commercial properties. Working client-side, you will maintain oversight of the appointed Managing Agent while also leading on compliance, risk management, and the delivery of best-in-class safety standards across the estate.
Key Responsibilities:

Setting and driving the organisation's H&S strategy and ensuring full compliance across the portfolio

Overseeing and challenging the Managing Agent to ensure high operational standards

Leading on audits, inspections, and risk assessments across residential, retail, and commercial assets

Acting as the senior point of authority for all H&S matters, offering guidance to internal teams and stakeholders

Implementing continuous improvements and fostering a strong safety culture within the organisation

Ensuring compliance with all statutory regulations and industry best practice
What We're Looking For:

A senior H&S professional with experience in mixed-use property portfolios

Strong technical knowledge and a hands-on approach to risk management

Confident leadership and stakeholder engagement skills

Experience managing or overseeing Managing Agents is highly beneficial

A strategic thinker who can influence at executive level while remaining operationally aware
