About the Role

As a Graduate Planner within a National Consultancy you will be in a position to excel your career with the training, support and guidance to enable you to gain rounded experience and professional direction to pass your APC. You will be placed in a diverse and dynamic team where you will work closely with clients and team members on the spectrum of Planning tasks and you will work closely with other graduates going through the same APC process.

 

The team provides solutions and strategic advice to its clients whilst working on a wide range of projects for public and private sector clients.

 

As a Graduate Planner you will be provided with the training and support to help you achieve Chartership. The right candidate will be enthusiastic and motivated to achieving this.

Key role requirements include:

  • Preparation of Planning Appraisal Reports and Planning Statements
  • Undertaking planning research
  • Preparing and submitting small planning applications
  • Preparing submissions to discharge planning conditions
  • Attendance of meetings, site visits and public consultation events with colleagues for large scale projects.
  • Assisting colleagues with large scale planning applications

· Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

· An interest in industry news and business

· Problem solving skills

· An ability to work as part of a team and establish good working relationships

· Working towards APC

· GCSE grade 'C' in Maths & English Attained grade of 2:1 (or higher) in an RTPI accredited degree

· Unconditional right to work in the UK and Full Clean Driving License
