For a someone looking to build their career, the role offers:
* A hybrid working arrangement, with three days per week in the office.
* APC support for those working towards chartership.
* Exposure to a range of regeneration and development projects.
* The opportunity to work across both Development Consultancy and Valuation Advisory.
* Collaboration with colleagues across planning and development.
The Role and Responsibilities
You will support the delivery of advice to clients across regeneration and development projects. Your responsibilities will include:
* Undertaking development consultancy, valuation, compulsory purchase and public sector procurement work.

* Supporting RICS Red Book valuation reports, including property inspections, measurement and valuation analysis.
* Assisting with compulsory purchase and land assembly advice, including compensation assessments.
* Supporting tender and bid submissions alongside colleagues and partner organisations.
* Working with planning and development colleagues on development sites.
* Researching public sector delivery models and partnership options.
You will also have the opportunity to develop your client-facing experience, supporting the team in providing advice on development viability and the deliverability of development opportunities.
The Skills Needed
The opportunity could suit someone at the beginning of their property career or someone who has already started developing their professional surveying experience. We are looking for:
* Relevant academic knowledge of property, real estate, surveying or a related discipline.
* An interest in development consultancy, valuation and regeneration.
* A working knowledge of property valuation and development appraisal principles appropriate to your career level.
* Good numerical, research and written communication skills.
* An interest in working towards, or continuing towards, RICS qualification where applicable.
Previous work experience within property or surveying would be useful, but candidates at graduate level with relevant work experience placements will also be considered. Knowledge of Argus Developer would be beneficial rather than essential.
This is a chance to join a collaborative consultancy where you can develop experience across Development Consultancy and Valuation Advisory while receiving APC support and exposure to public sector regeneration work.
