The Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Landscape Architect to join their multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping and delivering landscape solutions for a variety of projects, from strategic planning to detailed design and implementation. You'll work closely with planning and environmental specialists, as well as clients and stakeholders, to ensure projects meet aesthetic, functional, and environmental goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop landscape designs and management strategies for projects across the minerals, quarries, renewables and solar sector.
  • Undertake site appraisals, landscape character assessments, and visual impact assessments to inform project proposals.
  • Prepare high-quality landscape masterplans, planting plans, and detailed technical drawings.
  • Contribute to the preparation of planning applications, environmental impact assessments (EIAs), and supporting documents.
  • Liaise with clients, planning authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Support the delivery of projects from concept through to construction, ensuring compliance with environmental and planning regulations.
  • Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in sustainable landscape design and environmental conservation.

About You
To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A degree or postgraduate qualification in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline.
  • Chartered membership of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) or working towards it.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and GIS.
  • Strong knowledge of UK planning policy and landscape design principles.
  • Experience in landscape and visual impact assessments (LVIA) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A passion for sustainable and innovative design solutions.
