As our services expand, we're seeking a dynamic and experienced Lettings Manager to spearhead the acquisition of new properties, grow our housing portfolio, and strengthen relationships with landlords and agents. Lettings Manager - Property Sourcing and Portfolio Growth

As our Lettings Manager, you will be the driving force behind sourcing, securing, and managing properties for temporary accommodation.

You'll lead strategic growth initiatives, liaise with key stakeholders, and ensure our lettings operation runs smoothly, ethically, and in compliance with legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and acquire new properties through landlords, agents, and developers

  • Grow and manage our property portfolio in response to local authority demand

  • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with property providers and stakeholders

  • Oversee all aspects of the lettings process - from marketing to tenancy agreements

  • Ensure legal and housing standard compliance across all properties

  • Collaborate with internal teams for seamless tenant placements

  • Monitor market trends to inform strategy and expansion

  • Report regularly on lettings activities to senior leadership

Essential:

  • 5+ years' experience in lettings, property sourcing, or management

  • Proven success in securing property deals and expanding portfolios

  • Deep understanding of UK lettings legislation, especially social/supported housing

  • Strong business development and relationship management skills

  • Excellent communicator and negotiator

  • Organised, proactive, and strategic thinker

  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

  • Experience with local authorities or temporary accommodation

  • Knowledge of social housing and tenant support standards

  • Familiarity with CRM/lettings software

  • RICS accreditation (or interest in pursuing-support provided)
