About the Role
Maintenance Supervisor - Client-Side Commercial Property | London | Up to £45,000 + 10% Bonus
Cobalt are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor to join a leading commercial office and property investment brand in London.
This is a client-side position, responsible for overseeing the maintenance and day-to-day operation of a portfolio of commercial office properties. You'll also be responsible for managing a team of Maintenance Operatives, ensuring the portfolio is maintained to a high standard and any issues are dealt with efficiently.
The role:
* Oversee the day-to-day maintenance of a portfolio of commercial office properties
* Manage, support and coordinate a team of Maintenance Operatives
* Ensure planned and reactive maintenance is completed effectively
* Carry out regular site inspections and identify maintenance requirements
* Coordinate contractors and specialist suppliers when required
* Monitor the quality and completion of maintenance works
* Ensure health & safety procedures and company standards are maintained across the portfolio
* Build strong relationships with internal teams, occupiers and contractors
* Take ownership of maintenance issues through to resolution
* Support the wider property and facilities team with the smooth operation of the portfolio
The ideal candidate:
* Previous experience in a Maintenance Supervisor, Senior Maintenance Operative or similar position
* Experience within commercial offices or a similar property environment
* Strong general building maintenance knowledge
* Previous experience supervising or managing maintenance staff
* Comfortable working across multiple properties and managing competing priorities
* Good communication and organisational skills
* A proactive, hands-on approach to maintenance and problem solving
* Someone who takes pride in delivering high standards across their buildings
Package:
* Salary up to £45,000
* 10% annual bonus
