About the Role

An ambitious and growing planning consultancy is making its mark in Manchester - and they're looking for a driven, visionary Director to lead the charge.

This is a rare opportunity to play a defining role in establishing and growing a brand-new office for a well-regarded planning consultancy. With an already impressive reputation in other regions, the firm is now expanding its footprint into the North West. They're looking for a senior planning professional to lead and shape their newly-formed Manchester team from the ground up.

About the Role:

As Director, you'll be instrumental in building the Manchester office - leading projects, developing client relationships, be involved in further hiring, and mentoring a new team, to drive business growth in the region. • Deliver high-quality planning advice and manage a diverse portfolio of projects
  • Build relationships with developers, local authorities, and key stakeholders
  • Recruit and mentor a high-performing local team

About You:

  • MRTPI qualified, with significant experience in consultancy or local authority

  • You're motivated by the opportunity to build something new - and to shape a team and culture from day one

Why Join?

  • Shape and lead a brand-new team with the backing of a respected national consultancy
  • Enjoy a genuinely supportive, collaborative culture that values autonomy and initiative
  • Competitive salary, bonus potential, and flexible hybrid working arrangements
  • A real chance to make your mark - professionally and personally
