About the Role
Resident Associate
The organisation
We are partnering with a large-scale Build to Rent operator managing modern residential developments in London. The organisation is people-first in its approach, with a strong focus on resident experience, community engagement and consistent service delivery.
This is an environment suited to individuals who enjoy structured processes, daily resident interaction and working as part of an on-site team. The developments are professionally managed, well-resourced and designed to support long-term resident satisfaction.
The role and responsibilities
As a Resident Associate, you will support the Resident Manager and Assistant Manager in the smooth day-to-day running of two residential developments totalling around 700 homes. This Resident Associate role is front-facing, administrative and service-led, with regular resident interaction throughout the day.
Key responsibilities include:
Acting as a first point of contact for residents, providing a professional and welcoming service at all times.
Managing resident queries through a CRM system, ensuring cases are logged, updated and closed within agreed timeframes.
Supporting move-ins and move-outs, coordinating with internal teams and third-party contractors.
Carrying out daily checks across the development to ensure standards are consistently met.
Assisting with reporting and general administration to support the wider operations team.
Escalating complex issues to the Resident Manager where required.
The Resident Associate role operates on a rota basis, working five days out of seven, including weekends. Shifts are either 8.00am-4.30pm or 11.30am-8.00pm, with two days off per week.
The skills needed
We are keen to speak with candidates who are motivated by service delivery and enjoy administrative work. Previous property experience is not required for this Resident Associate role.
You will ideally bring:
Working knowledge of CRM systems and confidence using computer-based programmes.
Strong written and spoken English skills.
Experience in a customer-facing role, such as hospitality, retail, student accommodation or similar environments.
A resident-focused mindset, with the ability to remain calm and organised in a busy setting.
Enjoyment of administrative tasks and following clear processes.
