About the Role
Our Client
Our client is an established and highly respected specialist property consultancy who are looking to appoint an experienced Residential Valuer to join its growing team covering London and the wider South East / M25 region.
As a firm they specifically operate within a specialist area of residential valuation, acting on a wide range of valuation matters. With a strong reputation in its field, the business offers a collaborative and professional environment alongside flexible working.
The Role
This position offers the perfect balance between field-based inspections and home-based analytical work.
You will be responsible for undertaking residential property inspections across London and the surrounding areas, gathering property data and market evidence, and contributing to the preparation of detailed valuation reports.
The role is structured around approximately:
- 3 days per week conducting property inspections
- 2 days per week carrying out comparable research and valuation analysis
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake residential property inspections across London and the M25 region
- Gather property data and market evidence to support valuation work for the purposes of e.g. dispute resolution
- Conduct comparable market research and analysis
- Contribute to the preparation of professional valuation reports
- Maintain strong relationships with professional clients and advisers
- Ensure work is completed in line with professional standards and deadlines
About You
The client is seeking someone with practical residential valuation experience who is comfortable dealing with clients and representing a professional brand.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience undertaking residential property valuations previously for various clients e.g. lenders
- A relevant qualification such as SAVA, or be working towards chartered status
- Strong knowledge of the London and South East residential market
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- The ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
Candidates must be within commutable distance of London due to the location of inspections.
Package
- £55,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
- Commission based on business generated
