This is an exciting opportunity to support high-profile design teams across the UK and internationally, contributing to projects from early concept stages through to construction completion.

The Role

As a Senior Construction Planner, you will be instrumental in developing robust and realistic construction programmes for a wide variety of complex projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary design and project management teams to provide planning insight and strategic guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed construction programmes using software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Produce construction phasing diagrams, time-location charts, and other visual tools to effectively communicate sequencing and logistics.
  • Prepare clear, concise planning reports that explain project timelines, risks, opportunities, and key assumptions.
  • Contribute to internal and external presentations, explaining complex planning concepts in an accessible way to clients and stakeholders.
  • Support the integration of planning strategies with sustainability goals, including reducing carbon footprint and environmental impact.
  • Promote the use of emerging digital tools, such as 4D planning, to enhance visualisation and communication of construction sequences.
  • Collaborate with fellow planners, designers, and project managers to strengthen the planning capability across the business.

About You

We're looking for a proactive and technically strong individual with a passion for shaping how major projects are delivered.

Essential Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of modern construction methods, logistics, and constructability.
  • Strong knowledge of planning and scheduling methodologies.
  • Proficient in using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline (e.g., Construction Management, Civil Engineering).
  • Strong interest in the future of construction - particularly in relation to sustainability and digital innovation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to foster positive working relationships across disciplines.
