About the Role
Cobalt Recruitment is working with a leading refurbishment contractor to recruit an experienced Site Manager for an immediate start on a live school refurbishment project in Bromley for an 8 week duration.
This is an 8-week contract overseeing refurbishment works across a multi-storey building, including decorating, flooring and general builders' works. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day running of the site.
- Supervise subcontractors and site operatives.
- Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed.
- Open and close the site each day.
- Coordinate works and maintain programme.
- Liaise with the project team and client.
Requirements
- SMSTS or SSSTS.
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Enhanced DBS (essential).
- Previous refurbishment experience, ideally within education or occupied buildings.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
