Site Manager

Cobalt is working with a leading contractor on a flagship luxury residential development in the heart of Manchester. This landmark scheme is delivering high-end apartment living with an exceptional standard of interior finishes. As part of the final delivery phase, we are seeking two experienced freelance Site Managers to oversee the premium fit-out of these luxury units.

The Role

This is a hands-on site leadership role focused on delivering top-tier apartment interiors through to final handover. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take ownership of specific apartment blocks, ensuring all fit-out works are completed to the highest quality, on programme, and in line with client expectations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing all aspects of high-end interior fit-out works, including:
  • Kitchen installation
  • Flooring installation
  • Final decoration and snagging
• Driving quality and attention to detail across all units
• Coordinating and managing subcontractor teams on a daily basis
• Using Priority One or Field View for digital snagging, progress tracking, and quality control
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety and project specifications.

Skills & Requirements

• Proven track record in luxury residential fit-out
• Strong background in delivering high-spec finishes for premium apartments
• Experience managing projects from interiors phase through to client handover
• Proficiency with Field View or Priority One software
• Based near Manchester or willing to travel for the duration of the contract
