About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Site Manager to oversee the fit-out of two shell units on a retail park in Mansfield, which will become a veterinary practice and a children's day nursery.
The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of fit-out delivery, excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to health & safety.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day site operations across both units.
Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.
Take full ownership of site health & safety, including RAMS, inductions, inspections and compliance.
Coordinate subcontractors, trades, materials and deliveries.
Oversee fit-out works, including M&E installations, partitions, ceilings, finishes and associated works.
Manage programme sequencing and coordinate multiple trades.
Monitor progress, resolve site issues and maintain quality standards.
Oversee snagging, inspections and final handover.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering fit-out projects.
Strong health & safety knowledge and site management experience - essential.
Good understanding of fit-out sequencing and M&E coordination.
SMSTS certification.
CSCS card.
First Aid at Work qualification.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ability to manage subcontractors and drive the programme.
Experience delivering veterinary practices, nurseries, healthcare or education facilities would be advantageous.
