My client has a requirement for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a busy Cost Management team in central Manchester. You will be confident shaping challenging projects from initial client briefing through to project procurement, cost, and supply chain management.

The focus of this position will likely concentrate on professional matters and Project Management. Your duties will include:

• Project management support

• Cost planning

• Supply chain management

• Project cash-flow and purchase order management

• Reinstatement-cost assessments

The appointed Assistant Quantity Surveyor should be fully conversant working in a multi-disciplinary Chartered Surveying environment and should have excellent technical skills and commercial acumen.

The role involves servicing existing and established clients and candidates will be required to demonstrate their desire and ability to develop new clients/networking.
