Assistant Technical Services Manager - JN73713

Cobalt is looking for a proactive Assistant Technical Services Manager who wishes to challenge themselves and build their career managing ground-breaking, elite level commercial property within a company at the forefront of the real estate industry.

You'll form a crucial part of that on-site team, working alongside the Technical Services Manager to proactively manage the hard services within the development.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Supporting the Engineering and Property Managers in the day to day running of the building;

• Assisting with the management of M&E specific contractors, checking method statements and permits to works where appropriate.

• Liaising with tenant representatives over any engineering revisions, including overseeing/monitoring tenant fit-out works

• Undertaking regular audits of maintenance programmes, reviewing and inspecting PPM and reactive works

• Keeping updated with new environmental and M&E developments;

• Taking a proactive attitude to H&S within the development, ensuring safe working practices are in place for all work.

This is an Assistant role, but with real responsibility. Our client is looking for someone with a solid foundation in maintenance/engineering experience, or someone from a total facilities management background in property management, who they can invest in and develop over the long term future. A knowledge of managing building plant is therefore essential, but this may have been learned within an Assistant Building/Facilities Management position rather than a pure hard FM related role. An IOSH qualification would be highly desirable.
