This is an opportunity to join an established multi £bn investor in European Real Estate. The firm invest across the capital stack but are active senior/mezz lenders and throughout the current health crisis have built their pipeline and have extremely acquisitive plans for the coming months.
The firm are established and a well-known player but are still a relatively new entrant to the market. They're investing out of a newly raised fund, which is totally discretionary capital and they have a pre-existing investment team who are spotting great deals in the market.
They have a pool of loan AM's currently who are managing borrowers effectively and this position is to expand this existing team. The business invests across the capital stake and write tickets which vary in size and type and as a result the successful candidate here will liaise with a range of different borrowers. The role will also require continuous communication with the investment team and deal originators to assist in defining and shaping the investment strategy. The team need someone with strong technical and valuation skills who can report to an efficient and robust reporting structure. In addition to this though someone with a commercial outlook and the capability to work in a front-office capacity will also be required.
The successful candidate will have experience of working within an established lender or loan servicer ideally or in absence of this will have advisory experience within Real Estate Debt. Solid technical and reporting skills will be an important attribute also.
