Building Manager

Cobalt Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with one of our long-term clients as they seek a Building Manager for a state-of-the-art development in Hertfordshire.

This mixed-use site is around 150,000 sq. ft. in total and will quickly become known as an iconic development for the county.

This role provides you with the opportunity to grow and progress your career with an industry-leading brand.

Given the nature of the development, our client is seeking a candidate with a proven track record in managing a commercial asset along with a can-do attitude and a keen eye for detail.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Being based on reception, and answering any tenant queries about the day-to-day running of the building;

• Overseeing the work of contractors, signing off on permits to work and RAMS;

• Overseeing service charge budgets as well as raising PO's for these works;

• Conducting site inspections and building walkthroughs;

• Working alongside your FM to ensure the effective maintenance of the building plant and fabric;

• Building lasting working relationships with the tenants to ensure a top total FM service.

Our client is looking for an individual with a strong foundation of FM knowledge and experience from an IOSH or IWFM qualification along with a proactive service-driven attitude.
