Cash Book Officer, Full-Time, 12 Month FTC, Birmingham City Centre, Competitive Salary

My client is an international real estate firm looking for a Cash Book Officer to join their team in central Birmingham on a 12 Month FTC. The role will be focussed on data cleaning and be project based.

This position will be based in Birmingham with the option of homeworking.

Main duties will include:

  • Downloading direct receipts from internet banking, posting to the tenant records and maintaining cash sheets.

  • Maintaining a high level of customer service ensuring all SLA's are met.

  • Actively working with other teams to resolving queries.

  • Proactive approach to risk management ensuring risks are minimised and any issues are reported and resolved promptly.

  • Making payments of rent to Clients and ensuring that this is done in a timely manner and in accordance with client instructions.

  • Supporting the Treasury Compliance team with all bank reconciliations and resolving queries

  • Utilising the banking software as well as understanding the internal transfer controls to direct funds to the correct client bank account.

  • Recording cheques

The ideal candidate must have:

  • Cashiering professional with experience of working in a fast-paced and high-volume environment

  • Advanced Microsoft knowledge

  • Experience of different banking software

  • Solid experience in cashiering/treasury function

  • Solid knowledge of principles, practices and regulations relating to the handling of client's monies
