Client Accountant
£30k - £38k depending on experience

My client are an investment management company situated in the West End, with an impressive portfolio of properties. If you are keen to join a thriving Property Management team as a Client Accountant this role may be your next move...

This role is focused on a large portfolio of commercial properties. The successful candidate must be comfortable taking charge of a portfolio, leading on client interaction and driven to ensure all deadlines are met successfully.


  • Working independently focusing on a large, international portfolio of commercial properties

  • Undergoing the full service charge process, from loading the budgets to undergoing the year-end accounting including prepayments and accruals

  • Ensuring all reconciliations across rent and service charge are adjusted correctly and the ledger is balanced

  • Liaising directly with the client to ensure all queries are resolved quickly and efficiently and bespoke reporting is provided when requested

  • Monthly and quarterly reporting, as well as reporting up to trial balance and extended trial balance

  • Raising demands across rents, rates and service charges, and ensuring these are correctly apportioned to the properties within your portfolio

  • Ensuring strong rapport is established internally and externally, across property managers, surveyors and departments such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and the Cashiering team


  • ESSENTIAL: Existing knowledge of a property management system such as Qube, Horizon, MRI, Yardi, Voyager, Tramps, Bluebox, etc.

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise workloads appropriately

  • Strong communication skills to deal with queries from tenants and clients alike
