Client Accountant Manager

Cobalt is working with a highly valued global real estate advisory firm. With a wide European presence, this firm is dedicated to achieving outstanding outcomes and client needs. They are presently in search of a proficient Client Accountant Manager to become part of their energetic team based in their Birmingham Office.
Duties:
Lead, train, and organise the Client Accounting team to meet client needs.
Set team targets, monitor performance, and implement improvement initiatives.
Act as a mentor, providing coaching and support for team performance and skills.
Develop, refine, and ensure adherence to service delivery processes.
Establish control frameworks and ensure compliance with internal standards and audits.
Collaborate for operational efficiency and act as the primary contact for clients.
Manage client accounting records, conduct financial analysis, and ensure contractual compliance.
Set and manage individual/team targets while operating within budget constraints.
Manage existing client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
Specialise in own discipline, contribute broadly, and enhance the company's reputation through successful delivery.
Person specification:
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experienced in property management/accounting software like Tramps, Qube, Yardi, Horizon.
Experienced in leading accounting teams within property management or similar environments.
Self-motivated, adaptable, assertive, and conscientious with a professional demeanour.
Highly focused, organised, and deadline-oriented, managing multiple projects effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a commitment to customer service.
Demonstrates people management, mentoring, and interpersonal abilities.
