Client Accountant
Central London
£38k - £43k

Our client, one of the most prominent Property Development companies in the UK, is looking for an experienced Client Accountant who is equipped enough to combat the day to day challenges of this highly coveted role within the property accounts sector based in London. This company is known for its extensive portfolio across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring client statements and VAT reports are generated when undergoing control account reconciliations for both clients and directly recoverable accounts on a monthly/ quarterly basis.

  • Commune with the building teams regularly to assist with any finance issues within either the service charge or corporate sector, also assisting the clients and building teams with any queries.

  • Regular reporting of both expenditures and revenue to the correct parties on a regular basis.

  • Review service charge expenditures thoroughly to ensure that they match up and raise demands for both rent and service charges.

  • Oversee the execution of the current processes to ensure that they work efficiently, and to make any changed necessary to help with development.

  • Assist members of the accounts team with any queries to help them develop and meet the team's departmental targets.

Personal Specifications:

  • Previous experience working in a Client Accountant function within Real Estate

  • To have previous experience using different property management systems, ideally Qube as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

  • To be familiar with the RICS code and to have experience adhering to it as well as previous knowledge of Landlord and Tenant legislation.

  • The ability to commune with customers/ clients on all levels with customer focus.

  • To be a highly motivated individual with an excellent attention to detail.
