Client Accountant Team Lead - TRAMPS


£42k - £46k per annum

Hybrid working - 3 days in, 2 days from home

One of Cobalt's property consultancy clients are seeking for a Client Accountant Team Lead to join them in their sociable Westend office on a permanent basis. You will be overseeing two Client Accountants, one Credit Controller and one Service Charge Accountant along with managing your own Client Accounting duties.

This will be more of an overseeing all processes type of role, not too hands on with the Client Accounting duties but you will still be expected to handle them responsibilities as and when required.


  • Experienced TRAMPS user - Knowledgeable and confident of this Property Management System

  • Responsible for the management and development of the Client Accounting team, ensuring that each area meets and exceeds its KPIs and ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures.

  • Manage and Assist in the recruitment, training, retention, and motivation of the team in order to develop commitment and high performance.

  • Overseeing / handling the preparation and reconciliation of annual Service Charge accounts including cash reconciliations.

  • Overseeing / handling the monthly reconciliation of clients and tenant accounts.

  • Liaise as and when needed with relevant tenants and clients acting on and providing information as required.

  • Maintaining the property management database on TRAMPS. This includes setting up new leases, terminating leases, completing lease renewals/assignments and inputting rent reviews.

  • Attend internal and external meetings when required

  • Any other accounting duties necessary to ensure the efficient running of the portfolio

Personal attributes:

  • Working knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook required and knowledge of TRAMPS property management systems or others such as (Yardi/MRI/Horizon) would be beneficial

  • Must be flexible and able to work under pressure, multitask and effectively prioritise

  • Organised and able to work to detail and to deadlines

  • Knowledge of property accounts is essential
