Community Events and Building Manager

Cobalt is delighted to be working alongside a world-leading Property Agent. They are managing a brand-new landmark tower in the heart of the City of London and are looking for an Events and Communication Manager to bring the sustainable office building's vision to life, whilst managing client events and relationships.
The sole responsibility of this role is to ensure that all customers entering the building have an excellent experience whilst there, and that it leaves a positive, long-lasting impression. The chosen individual will help to plan occupier events, liaise regularly with the Building Management team, and ensure that all events taking place are fully H&S compliant and remain within the decided budget.
Core responsibilities:
Drive occupier engagement levels through implementing year-round exciting and dynamic events.
Assist clients with creating annual campaign plans to support their company vision, proposing budgets and resources required to deliver their plans.
Provide monthly reports to the client and senior management team on all activity insights and come up with suggestions on innovations and potential changes to the plan.
Tour VIPs round the building site whenever necessary
Create and maintain strong relationships with all occupiers of the building, as you will be one of the main management faces of the building.
Create and execute a communications strategy from the ground up to raise the profile of the building's events.
Act as the liaison between the building management team, and the occupiers.
Oversee the yearly occupier engagement programme and encourage all occupiers to complete this.
Assist with the building's website and social media presence, helping to create interesting content to engage occupiers.
Create and build on existing relationships with journalists and influencers, to contribute towards the building's positive PR.
Ensure that any issues flagged by occupiers or clients are raised appropriately to the relevant team, and successfully acted upon.
Stay up to date with current market conditions and keep the relevant clients appropriately informed.
Promote building event spaces to drive revenue-generating opportunities for the building.
Review visitor satisfaction results online, using these to develop and implement building-specific plans to improve upon this.
Drive ESG initiatives onsite to support with the ESG targets created by the building team.
Manage the building management app portal to communicate with occupiers.
Explore new opportunities to commercialise the space and generate building revenue.
Personal Specification:
Excellent managerial and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record in managing change, budgets, and strategic vision.
Experienced in the supervision of serviced partners.
Strong communication skills to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Be proactive and reactive with any client requests.
Strong time management skills are essential for this position, as you will have deadlines that must be met for projects.
MS Office proficient.
Experience of direct liaison with customers, clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
