Controller - Real Estate Asset Manager

Our client is one of the largest and most reputable Real Estate Investment Managers globally. They are currently seeking an Assistant Controller to be part of their growing team in Luxembourg. They offer great career progression opportunities and significant exposure to Real Estate industry.

Responsibilities include:

• Overview of accounting team and it's operations

• Financial analysis for group investments when required

• Accounting preparation for investors reporting

• Management and development of the team

• Ensure intra group transactions, capital calls, distributions and debt payments are correct and on time

• Ensure that financial statements are issued on time

• Liaise with third parties for audit and tax related issues

• Participation in several ac hoc projects

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance

• ACCA / CPA qualification or equivalent (or working towards that)

• Several years of post qualification experience in Real Estate or in an Audit firm

• Strong knowledge of Lux GAAP and IFRS; work experience in Luxembourg market is necessary

• Consolidation experience is advantageous

• Fluency is English is necessary
