Data Analyst/Controller - Real Estate

Our client is a successful, well-known property consultancy firm. Their finance portfolio is growing significantly hence the need for this hire. This role will work alongside the Data and Forecasting Lead, supporting the provision of quarterly forecasting which will lead onto client reporting and data handling. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a highly respected firm and be able to develop within the industry. The position will start remote until restrictions allow otherwise.

Core responsibilities

  • Carry out excel report models using data sets from property management databases such as MRI Horizon.

  • Prepare to deliver all forecasts to meet deadlines and help with the managing of Data, Reporting and Forecasting across the portfolio

  • Be the first point of call within the team such as for internal and external stakeholders, including the delivery of key information

  • Assist in providing Data Assurance as the platform for accurate and robust forecasting

  • Assist in delivery of Building Asset Plans and communicate effectively with clients

  • Be able to set up or improve cash flow models

Personal specification

  • Advanced experience with Excel such as being able to condense data

  • Have automation skills such as VBA or

  • Experience using Argus Enterprise or other valuation software desirable

  • Effective communication both verbal and written

  • Flexibility to work alongside different teams within the business

  • Have a proactive approach at work and use your initiative to

  • Have good teamwork skills and support other members within the business

  • MRICS useful, but not essential
