Development Manager
Based South West
Acting exclusively on behalf of our client Euro Garages, Cobalt is actively recruiting for an experienced Development Manager who will be responsible for actively driving South West & Wales region's acquisition and development programme to deliver a high quality and diverse property development pipeline in accordance with EG Group's UK portfolio expansion strategy.
Reporting directly to the UK Development Director, the Development Manager will identify, review and negotiate the acquisition of land and buildings for the development of New to Industry petrol filling stations and associated roadside retail offers. The individual will build upon existing and generate new relationships with landowners, developers and agents to assist with sourcing and acquiring EG Group development opportunities in the UK.
This is a full-time permanent field-based opportunity covering South West UK & Wales with a competitive bonus scheme meaning successful candidates will also be rewarded for all successful developments/acquisitions.
Responsibilities include identifying, sourcing and negotiating new acquisitions including off-market transactions.
To succeed in this sector applicants must be MRICS with a proven track record in a similar development/acquisition related field, ideally in the retail, roadside or leisure sector. A full clean driving licence is also essential.
