Development Surveyor

A fantastic new Development Surveyor role has been created to identify potential residential opportunities across the portfolio in Yorkshire, the North West and Midlands, and to manage the delivery of those projects.

The successful applicant will contribute to the delivery of agreed acquisition and development targets for a range of mixed tenure projects, undertake assessments and appraisals of projects and potential acquisition opportunities and support the wider team with the strategic residential development strategy.

All applicants must have previous experience in the identification and /or delivery of large multi-phased development projects in the residential and commercial sectors and ideally be familiar with both commercial and residential property contracts and appraisals. In particular knowledge and and experience of Excel and Argus Appraisal software would be beneficial.

Candidates must have a degree in real estate, or town planning and have already achieved or committed to a professional qualification in this specialist field - RICS or RTPI.

Harworth's Head Office is in Rotherham with regional offices in Leeds, Manchester, and Birmingham. It is expected that the Development Surveyor will be in the Rotherham or Leeds office a minimum of 3 days a week, including site visits.
