EBME Manager

Cobalt are working with a NHS Trust in East Sussex to recruit an EBME (Electrical and Biomedical Engineering) Manager on a permanent basis, paying £45,000-£52,000 depending on experience.

The successful candidate will be willing to work flexibly and be part of a dynamic team, meeting the challenges of a forward thinking organisation. As the EBME Manager, you will work alongside the Trust's Medical Devices Decontamination Lead and be responsible for developing the EBME service provision, providing management of in-house services, external SLA's and contracts giving guidance to the team whilst ensuring the reliability of medical device equipment.

You will have/be:

• Significant experience managing EBME teams within a healthcare setting.

• Proven significant leadership experience.

• The ability to be the Estates Medical Devices Lead analysing performance of the overall service and the lead specialist in the evaluation of new devices that enter the Trust.

• The ability to lead a team of highly technical staff to provide an efficient, reliable planned and reactive maintenance service relating to all medical devices.

• The ability to collaborate with various staff members in order to select and procure the right medical device within the Trust, also developing and implement business cases for equipment, service improvement and asset tracking systems for a Trust wide Medical device service.

• Good analytical and problem solving skills and able to work well under pressure to achieve results for the EBME service and for the Trust.

• An effective communicator at all levels.
