Estate Manager

Cobalt Recruitment is working with a growing residential property owner and developer who, following an internal promotion, is looking for an Estates Manager for a prominent residential development. This standout site embodies modern living and design, and is therefore seeking an individual with a modern approach to Facilities/Estates Management that marries quality maintenance skills with the need to provide a quality property service. You'll be given autonomy and operational freedom to achieve these goals, and form a crucial part of a close-knit, growing business with the will and resources to continue that upwards trajectory moving forward.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Bringing together multiple stakeholders in order to deliver a first-class FM service for residents within the development;

• Overseeing a planned maintenance programme for building plant and fabric throughout the estate;

• Ensuring H&S compliance is adhered to, including signing off general and fire risk assessments, L8, RIDDOR, COSHH etc

• Conducting regular site inspections, identifying and rectifying any maintenance issues as and when they occur;

• Managing the work of sub-contractors for soft and hard services;

• Managing, mentoring and developing an in-house teams of front of house staff, and an Assistant Estates Manager;

• Taking responsibility for the Operational and CAPEX budgets on-site.

It is essential that you possess either an IOSH or NEBOSH qualification whilst industry membership of the IWFM or IRPM would be viewed favoruably. You'll be confident leading a team, implementing procedures and embody a culture of continuous improvement with a keen attention to detail in FM.
