Cobalt is looking for a Facilities Manager on behalf of one of the UK's best regarded property management businesses. Our client boasts a strong track record of developing and empowering their Facilities Management staff, and having promoted the incumbent they are now seeking another FM to invest in.

This role will see you take ownership of 6-8 strategically important commercial offices, as part of a wider portfolio that our client manages for a prominent landlord, and will be working in close partnership with the existing team. The role would suit someone looking to transition their FM career into the Real Estate world, or an Assistant looking for their first taste of independent portfolio management - all whilst retaining the safety net of a mentor and first-class FM structure around you.

Once fully trained, the role will involve:

  • Regularly inspecting your portfolio, taking charge of your own diary to organise site visits;

  • Setting and managing service charge budgets with support of the Senior FM;

  • Liaising directly with key stakeholders, chief amongst them the landlord and tenant representatives;

  • Ensuring the effective planned preventative maintenance programme for building plant and fabric;

  • In conjunction with the wider team, overseeing proactive investment into the assets, including refurbishment works;

  • Managing the work of outsourced suppliers;

  • Ensuring full compliance with UK Health and Safety legislation.

Ideally you will bring prior experience of managing/assisting with the management of a portfolio of multiple properties or have a track record in managing entire building(s) including plant rooms and common areas. An IOSH qualification is essential for this role.

Equally importantly will be your proactive, driven nature, and ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders. Our client embodies the modern attitude to Facilities Management where relationship building is key.

If you are interested in this role please apply online with your CV immediately - this role will interview before the closing date of this advert.
